About Sarah...
Sarah is a qualified and experienced counsellor and a member of the National Counselling Society. (MNCS Accreditted)
Based in Henley on Thames she offers emotional therapeutic counselling to those seeking help in coping with a variety of issues.
Sarah draws on her own life experiences to help clients. She believes in the process of life long learning and that the journey of self discovery is ongoing.
Having run her own business as a corporate florist for many years she is all too well aware of how the demands of the work place as well as other areas of our lives can cause stress and the effects that stress can have on both our minds and our bodies.
Sarah is passionate in believing that emotional well being holds the key to a contented and fulfilling life. Sarah, has herself benefited from the process of Emotional Therapeutic therapy and knows that it can positively change the way in which we perceive ourselves, others and the world.
Taking the first steps to work with a counsellor can be a frightening and challenging experience. Sarah will work with you to help you understand your emotions and feelings in a safe and friendly environment.
Sessions are undertaken at your pace and are entirely confidential. With her caring and compassionate approach, Sarah will help you explore your concerns in a neutral, trusting and supportive environment.
Sarah will listen without judgement, offer you the time and the encouragement that you need to explore the difficulties in your life. Throughout this process Sarah will help you unravel, express and make sense of your feelings and emotions using gentle and effective techniques.
Having enjoyed a varied, and at times challenging life Sarah has personal experience of counselling and the benefits it can bring when faced with difficult or disturbing thoughts and worries.
Sarah has a specialist interest in Gender Issues, Depression and Relationship issues and is able to offer help with many other issues.
The client / therapist relationship is critical to a successful therapeutic outcome, hence Sarah offers a free 30 minute consultation.

A Message from Sarah ...
"Based from my quiet and peaceful home which is within walking distance of Henley town centre and the railway station I offer daytime and early evening appointments.
Your initial consultation, which is free of charge, and will usually last approximately 30 minutes will allow us to explore counselling options and how comfortable we are with each other.
This is important as the counselling relationship must be based on mutual trust and values.
All sessions will be treated with the strictest confidence and you can rely on my absolute discretion."

"
I cannot recommend Sarah enough, She was patient and comforting whilst I completely failed to get to the point of why I was seeking therapy. She worked with me to build my confidence until such time as I felt able to open up and really start to talk about my worries. Given that I had hidden my gender dysphoria for many years when the dam burst Sarah helped me work through my emotions and bring order to my thoughts. With her help I am starting to put myself back together. Sarah - Thank you so much.
